Job Summary:

TheSocial Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage with our target audience. You will be tasked with creating high-quality content, managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying updated with the latest trends. The idealcandidate should have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think creatively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Developand execute comprehensive social media strategies thatalign with business goals and enhance brand visibility across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging, creative, and visually appealing content (posts, videos, graphics, stories, etc.) tailored for each platform to attract and engage the target audience.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to meet specific marketing objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and sales conversions.
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professionalmanner, and foster community interaction.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement rates, impressions, reach, conversions, etc.) to assess performance and suggest improvements.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updatedwith the latest socialmedia trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Social Listening: Use sociallisteningtools to monitor online conversations about the brand, competitors, and industry, anduse insights to adjust strategies.
  • Crisis Management: Quickly address and resolve any potential issuesor negative feedback that arise on social media to protect the brand’s reputation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing socialmedia platforms for a brand or company.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Content Creation:Experience with content creation toolslike Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or video editing software (iMovie, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Paid Advertising: Proficiency in managing paid social campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) and optimizing budgets for maximumROI.
  • Analytical Skills: Strongunderstanding of social media analyticsand KPIs with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social,or similar platforms.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to generate creative ideas for campaigns, contests, and interactive posts that resonate with the audience.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of brand voice and tone.
  • Project Management: Strong organizationalskills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Attentionto Detail: High level of attentionto detail, especially in content creation, copywriting, and proofreading.
  • Knowledge ofSEO and how social media playsa role in driving traffic and improving search rankings.
  • Experienceinrunning A/B tests to optimize social media content performance.
